You Are Work For What Income?
Someday
I want to tell You about the small story about two man. This story maybe can be
important for You, and make you know that You are work now for what income?.
People in this world maybe did not know They are working for what income, so for
this beautiful Sunday night I want to write about the income or actually you
are working for which income or what ?. Okay let's take a break with Martin and
Eren's story.
Martin
is a hard worker in a telecommunications company. Martin believes that if he
works harder, working more in the company then his salary will surely increase.
As a result Martin worked morning, noon, and even night overtime on holidays,
he worked to keep his salary higher and of course he might be promoted.
Unlike
Eren. Eren is also a hard worker in a telecommunications company. He believed
that the more he worked the more work the company would come to him. But unlike
Martin, Eren works only on schedule, he works morning until late afternoon and
at night and holidays Eren works for a minimarket and his rented house run with
his partner and friends. In addition to the minimarket and rented home
business, Eren also works in her spare time by investing in the stock market,
believing that working for a company is important, but more importantly that
she needs to build her own business.
Of
the two stories above which reflect yourself ?. Surely you can choose. In a
book by Robert Kiyosaki he once told about 3 types of income. What kind of
income is it let me explain one by one.
1. Earned Income
or active income earned or obtained from work as an employee or employee of a
company where you work. The disadvantage of this income is, if you stop working
or maybe a long time sick, then your income will stop. Just like Martin's
story, he works for this income. Perhaps when he was young Martin could work
very hard, but when he was old or sick then certainly the company did not need
it anymore.
2. portfolio Income
is income derived from so-called paper assets or securities such as stocks,
bonds, mutual funds and so on. The advantage of this income is that if you have
a good company stock, surely your money will increase without you having to
work.
3. Passive income
is a passively earned income without you having to work, then income will
continue to enter your pocket or account even if you do not work for years.
This type of income is very difficult to obtain. Robert once told me that there
are some assets that can provide passive income such as property, big business,
and also from paper asset. Passive income requires a process and must start
from learning the types of assets, therefore passive income becomes a priority
if you want to be rich in your old age. Like the story of Eren, he started a
mini-business and rented in his spare time while he was still working in a
company.
Okay
so that's 3 types of income that according to Robert and I also agree with his
opinion. Some people must focus on income or income actively, it's because
according to them it is enough, some others just thinking to get an active
income alone is quite tiring and heavy let alone plus must learn and work for
the income of poftofolio and passive income. I think it's true that building
and learning about passive income and portfolio income is hard, but if you want
to live better and a little richer there must be more sacrifice.
I
do not force you to study and work for the three income above, but if you want
to be rich in youth then you need to rethink your work. Thinking back,
contemplating for a moment, actually I work for which income (from the three
types of income above). and If only the active income you've been working on,
then I suggest you start reading or a little study for the next 2 income especially
passive income, because I am sure, in old age you will need it.
